Midnight Crisis - Suez Canal Crisis Empty Midnight Crisis - Suez Canal Crisis

Post by ARAB Staff Sun May 18, 2014 1:36 am

    Al-Jazeera News:
A military-grade explosive was detonated in downtown Cairo; Initial Egyptian intelligence suggests an Israeli explosive. In retaliation, Egypt has shut down the Suez Canal and begun to mobilize its armed forces towards the Sinai Peninsula.
Arab nations, sensing the spike in geopolitical tensions, have increased their military readiness and have begun large scale military mobilization, undoubtedly hoping to defend their borders and repel any fallout from an armed conflict in the region.
The United States has condemned hostile actions against Egypt but requests a serious investigation into the culprit for the bombing before any affirmative action is taken. While this shows a wary approach from Western nations onto this crisis, countries like the UK, France, China and even Russia will look to exploit the regional conflict for geopolitical gains.

    CBC News:
Cairo has become victim to a lethal act of terrorism. Countries across the globe have expressed their utter shock and sympathy towards Egypt and many express condemnation of hostile acts against Egypt.
While Western nations begin assessing the threat levels, Egypt begins damage control and calls upon Arab league nations to aid in the investigation.

    Fox News:
What can only be described as a Sinai insurgency has hit the capital city of Egypt today. The United States and many other Western nations are blaming the instability of the region as the cause of this horrible terror attack.
It’s clear that the resources of the region are in jeopardy and that the global markets would risk collapse if this threat was not met with a proactive response. Western intervention is certainly the best way to address this dire situation.

    Anonymous Source:
A covert terror cell has detonated a bomb in downtown Cairo. The bomb was rudimentary in nature and it is doubtful that a developed nation could be responsible. It is likely the denial of human rights and civil law in the region has instigated such an attack. The US 6th fleet has been reassigned towards the Mediterranean to contain an Egyptian blockade of the Suez Canal.
China and Russia have backed the Egyptian government in their blockade and have spoken out against the US in their deployment of naval warships in the region. Without a rapid response, the world could face a Suez Crisis II.

Midnight Crisis - Suez Canal Crisis Empty NATO Update

Post by ARAB Staff Sun May 18, 2014 2:15 am

    Intercepted NATO country transmission:
NATO and allies are coordinating a possible military excursion into exposed areas of the attack. The harsh instability in the region and the incapability of Arab nations to secure their territory both before and after the conflict poses threats to western security. Global economic, political, and social consequences can occur if the situation is not dealt with in a quick, swift manner.
Egypt’s radical approach to closing the Suez Cannel poses significant consequences to the global economy and security of the region. The international community must take control of the region.

Midnight Crisis - Suez Canal Crisis Empty Israeli Military Transmission *Classified*

Post by ARAB Staff Sun May 18, 2014 2:33 am

    *As captured by Israeli Drones*
Egyptian warships fired warning shots across the bow of 2 NATO destroyers. Unfortunately, one of the shells were poorly aimed and struck amidship of a resupply vessel in the fleet. No seamen were killed however 4 were injured and the ship was crippled. NATO forces have now moved into a offensive formation and have begun planning offensive actions. They are only awaiting the directives of NATO country governments regarding their orders.
Egyptian ships fled the area immediately and moved closer to the coast, within missile support range.
Israeli forces immediately began deploying aircraft in patrolling patterns over their airspace.

Midnight Crisis - Suez Canal Crisis Empty *Iranian government transmission*

Post by ARAB Staff Sun May 18, 2014 11:51 am

These Western infidels have seized this regional conflict as an opportunity to once again invade our lands.
By firing missiles over our people and killing hundreds, they have incited our rage and we will not sit quietly.

The Israeli mossad agents caught in military installations in our country today have all been executed and we will be mobilizing our entire military in the event Arab nations lose faith and join the infidels.

If NATO ships cross the 200nm line from the Eastern Coast of the Mediterranean, Iran will strike first.

Midnight Crisis - Suez Canal Crisis Empty *Al-Jazeera News*

Post by ARAB Staff Sun May 18, 2014 12:42 pm

Palestine is taking advantage of tensions and has begun firing rockets into Israel, killing hundreds.
Israel has immediately launched its aircraft and they destroyed the rocket sites, killing only the military members manning them.

US ships have rushed to the aid of Israel in the event of a retaliation but in doing so, have crossed the 200nm and are now less than 50nm from the shore. Iran has started moving unidentified containers towards military bases from its research facilities and the country is on high alert
